The exhibition will open on Sunday April 2nd @ 6.30 pm - immediately after a Nordic Worship Service where members and pastors from the Danish Church, the Finnish Church, the Norwegian Church and the Swedish Church will participate. Östlund recently exhibited this exhibition at St. John the Divine in New York - and for this he received the "Faith and Forms Honor Award 2005". If you did not get to see the exhibition then - now is a good opportunity. Welcome to Trygve Lie Gallery!

Michel Östlund was born in Uppsala, Sweden. Educated as an artist but influenced by working with silent movies, music, theater, and church rooms, he has combined all these disciplines into one show. His collection "Apostles" is currently travelling around the world and his St Bridget portrait has been applied to chasubles, glass art and carpets. The St Bridget plate has been presented as an official gift to the Pope and to royalty in the Nordic countries. Michel Östlund has produced several books over the past few years, among them "The Apostles" and "St Bridget."
